PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Buffalo


About the available position:

EPIC - Every Person Influences Children is seeking a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Professional Development Manager for their Buffalo headquarters. This human services position is responsible for responsible for developing and maintaining EPICs professional development and specialized training offerings both internally and externally. This will include supporting and advancing EPIC’s Assessment & Planning in Education and Family Engagement Consultation models. The PD Manager will ensure the learning objectives required by contracted governmental, educational and private funders are completed by EPIC staff and program participants. The PD Manager will be responsible for the recruitment and hiring of EPIC Facilitators, coordinating 3rd party or internal training, assigning sessions and evaluating performance.


Position Summary:

  • Job Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
  • Schedule:  Mainly weekdays, including some evenings
  • Location:  EPIC Headquarters, this position requires occasional and/or consistent travel, particularly to other WNY Counties– reliable transportation required. Potential infrequent travel to other areas of NY State and beyond, possibly by air.
  • Salary Range: $48,000-$55,000, paid hourly

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

About the available position:

EPIC - Every Person Influences Children is seeking a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Program Coordinator (Parenting & Family Engagement) for their Buffalo headquarters. This human services position is responsible for assisting the agency with the appropriate implementation of parenting, family engagement, youth services and professional development contracts as required. This position will coordinate and/or facilitate EPIC’s Car Seat Safety program including obtaining Child Passenger Safety certification, Strong African American (SAAF) program, Storytime East Buffalo, Just for Me programs and other programming as required. This may include scheduling services, coordinating services, facilitating workshops, outreach to special populations of parents, writing reports, maintaining accurate records and statistics, monitoring grant budget lines, meeting funder objectives and outcomes, networking in the community and attending meetings as assigned by Director of Parenting and Director of Family Services.


Summary:

  • Job Type:  Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
  • Schedule:  Mainly weekdays in the Buffalo office, with some evenings, and occasional weekends to attend events
  • Location:  Buffalo, NY- EPIC Headquarters
  • Salary Range:  $45,000 - $48,000, paid hourly

This position will ensure that administrative support activities are carried out efficiently and effectively, allowing organizational operations to function properly. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing administrative duties related to HR and Development. Duties include assisting in preparing payroll and benefits reports, coordinating recruitment and interview process, assisting in new employee onboarding, orientation and training processes, monitoring inventory, and coordinating with vendors.

OUTREACH AND NAVIGATOR MANAGER

About the available position:

EPIC - Every Person Influences Children is seeking a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Outreach & Navigator Manager for their Buffalo headquarters. The Outreach and Navigator Manager position will be responsible for supporting and promoting awareness of EPIC Programs while prioritizing our partnership with the regional Social Care Network (SCN). This human services position will coordinate and serve as an Assessor and Navigator connecting eligible participants to needed services, such as housing, nutrition, transportation, health care and parenting services. This position combines outreach and community engagement efforts with direct support to clients in understanding and applying for services under the 1115 Waiver, aimed at improving health outcomes and expanding Medicaid eligibility for targeted populations. Maintaining accurate records and statistics, participation in community events, and development of social media content are expectations for this position.


Summary:

  • Job Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
  • Schedule: Mainly weekdays, including evenings
  • Location: EPIC Headquarters, local travel within Erie County, Occasionally other areas within Western New York
  • Salary Range: $48,000-$53,000, paid hourly, Mileage reimbursement
