At EPIC – Every Person Influences Children, our mission is to strengthen families and build community to raise children who make a positive impact in the world.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 by December 31, 2024, and your support is essential to making this happen!
EPIC’s campaign emphasizes the importance of community support in helping families navigate life’s obstacles. With a concerted outreach to current and prospective donors, corporate sponsors, and community leaders, EPIC hopes to not only meet but exceed its fundraising goals this year.

While Charley’s message is exceptional, he is not the exception. Each day, without reservation, families are embraced, encouraged, and provided solutions and strategies that may be used to continue to be self-sufficient individuals rooted in confidence and a vision of their own future.
Because of stories like Charley’s, EPIC has expanded its foothold throughout Erie, Cattaraugus, Niagara, and Sullivan Counties. In 2023 EPIC opened Family Opportunity Centers (FOCs) in Lockport and Salamanca. In less than one year our centers have provided services to more than 250 families and exceeded 1,000 visits.
How Donations Help:
- $25 provides arts & craft supplies for participants in Storytime literacy programming, enhancing engagement and creative expression for children.
- $100 funds dinner for 10 youth participants in EPIC’s Just For Me program.
- $500 provides families with manuals, meals and supplies for 7 sessions in our Strong African American Families program. (SAAF).
These are the success stories. And while we take immense satisfaction in the accomplishments of our participants, there are thousands more in need of support. Through your financial donations we hope that you will consider becoming the beacon of light for those who are weathering the storm. Please help those individuals who are seeking to help themselves through child development, literacy, and wellness training.
Throughout the campaign, EPIC will continue to highlight personal stories from families who have benefited from the organization’s services. These stories will be shared through social media giving donors a firsthand look at the real-world impact your contributions make.

Since 1980, EPIC has served as a beacon of light for parents and caregivers, offering support and guidance when they need it most. - Grow our community outreach efforts, creating deeper partnerships and ensuring that families have access to the resources and networks they need to flourish.
- Launch new initiatives focused on early childhood development, helping children build strong foundations from the start and supporting their growth at every stage.
- Foster lifelong learning by offering workshops that promote positive parenting, emotional health, and leadership development for both parents and children.
