JUST FOR TEENS

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Just for Teens is a supportive, non-judgmental space for pregnant and parenting teenagers. It is a space where they are not labeled as “teen parents”, but are allowed to be both teens and parents as both separate and one entity. They will build supportive relationships, share their concerns and

successes, develop parenting skills, and learn new techniques to replace those that might be harmful to a child. This research-based program incorporates psychology, sociology, education and social work to provide teens with the skills and resources they need to be effective and confident parents, as well as create positive change in their abilities to impact their children’s development.  Just For Teens includes 24 different workshops covering topics in four main areas—Fundamental Parenting Skills, Bonding With Your Child, Relationships, and Personal Well-being.
